The most recent Kawasaki ZX-10R is at present offered on 0% finance with monthly payments of less than 250 Euro over 4 years. The motorcycle manufacturer is also providing finance packages on 15 other bikes, including the Z750R, Z100SX and Versys 650. The motorcycle evokes thoughts of rip-roaring handling and power best suited to race circuits and is considered to be one of the decent on-road motorcycles; however it isn’t quite in touch with the competition of the latest techno-laden R1, BMW S1000RR and Blade.

The 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R is the motorcycle to change this. It’s the first of Japanese motorcycles to come out fighting against storming BMW. The motorcycle maker’s perfect combination of braking, handling, decent suspension and usable power will be making it a superior road motorcycle unlike BMW. For track use, the fully gassed, 198kg Kawasaki ZX-10R has the best power-to-weight ratio.

The Kawasaki ZX-10R comes standard with plenty of features; these include: the customizable and highly advanced Sport Kawasaki Traction Control, which enables riders to capitalize and harness on its amazing combination of responsive handling and power. The system is known as S-KTRC or Sport Kawasaki Traction Control that works by crunching numbers from a variety of sensors and parameters, including engine rpm, wheel slip and speed, acceleration, throttle position and more. It relies on complex software buried in its ECU (Electronic Control Unit) working to rapidly reduce power at the right time where slippage exceeds the optimal traction zone.

The long road from conception to archetype to finished product – at last ended for the electric bike, Brammo Empulse in LA at swanky club. With b-list celebrities, scantily clad models and love music milling about, the production motorcycle was revealed, however more significantly. Final specifications and MSRP were also unveiled to assembled shoppers and media. The spy pics speak for themselves – it is a striking design, particularly for market class, which has been conquered by wonky, weird looking motorcycles. The battery pack and basic frame looks same like the archetype which toured the country last year, however the tank and tail section are abbreviated, while the radiator is moved down low behind front wheel. The premium braking and suspension components by Sachs, Brembo and Marzocchi will be retained as are the 17 inch Marchesini wheels. The look is minimalist, very European and elegant, while the performance with a promised 100 miles per hour-plus top speed should be pleasing as well.

Brammo, Inc., the manufacturing and designing company of world leading electric bikes, today unveiled production plans and pricing for the Empulse R and Empulse, while providing bike aficionados in LS a first look at a striking new design. At this distinctive EV industry event, Brammo has demonstrated to consumers and motorcycle insiders alike the enhancements in electric biking and is offering a glimpse of what is to come in the future. The Empulse includes a 100-mile range with the top speed of 100 miles per hour as well as a breakthrough engine and battery system allowing a great zero emission experience. At launch party, Brammo announced that the Empulse R and Empulse will be available for the price of $18,995 and $16,995 respectively with financing offered from Sheffield Financial.

Introduction

The Ninja ZX-14 in North America or ZZR1400 is a bike developed and designed by Kawasaki and is at present its most powerful sport bike. It was launched in the year 2005 at Tokyo Show and revealed for 2006 model year as the replacement for ZX-12R. The ZZR1400 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds that’s even faster than the Bugatti Veyron. The top speed is electronically limited to 186 miles per hour as a result of a contract between the most significant European and Japanese motorcycle manufacturing companies. The 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R was featured in season 10 of Fifth Gear on 30th October, 2006.

The R Designation Equals More Refinement and More Race Winning Power for an Ultimate Open-Class Sportsbike. It is got to be ugly competing against ZX-14 every year. When it appeared on the large bore sportsbike stage in the year 2006, the large Ninja blew everyone’s minds –journalists, rivals and owners, thanks to its sport tourer comfort, incredible thrust, aerodynamic full coverage bodywork and agile handling. Continuous refinement has kept the 14R a step ahead of the competition, all while filling aficionados’ face shields with ear-to-ear, wild grins.

Luckily for Kawasaki enthusiasts, there is no let up for this year. Not only is the newly R-designated Ninja ZX-14R massively more powerful, but is also almost entirely new, with more of the design excellence, finesse and character you have come to expect from Team Green – Kawasaki, which has building revolutionary open class bikes for over four decades.

Big power provided smoothly has always been a large Ninja characteristic, so the changes for this year start in the engine of 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. First off, there is more displacement through a 4mm stroke increase to 65mm (up from 61mm) with displacement now registering 1441cc. Combustion chamber shapes are newly optimized and surface milled now, not cast. Intake ports are polished and reshaped for maximum flow, while working in concert with more durable and longer intake valves.

The cams working those valves are more fundamental with redesigned profiles and increased lift, whereas the redesigned tensioning system and stronger camshaft chain maximize reliability at stratospheric rpm levels this powerplant is capable of. Newly designed forged pistons with thinner crowns provide less weight and increased durability and are cooled by the oil-jet cooling system which pumps a continuous stream of lubricant at underside of each piston. There is more: con rods are constructed of stronger material and have beefier small ends; compression is up from 2011; a new air-cleaner element is thicker and larger with 40 percent more airflow capability and 10 percent more surface area; transmission gears have been surface and heat treated to be even more durable and shift more smoothly and crankshaft main journals are thicker, from 38 to 40mm.

Feeding this segment dominating new powerplant is a redesigned fuel injection system, which provides reduced emissions and automatic idle adjustment. Burned hydrocarbons exit via larger volume, reshaped mufflers each with a sophisticated catalyzer for minimizing emissions and a heavily redesigned exhaust system with larger diameter, redesigned tapered header pipes.

The engine of 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is more than supremely powerful; you will find good amount of panache and polish to go along with it. The dual gear-driven counterbalance setup of powerplant, for example, has been optimized for working with the new mill’s longer crankshaft changes and stroke dimensions. The result is smoother power across rev range.

The ZX-14R comes with ignition management system and a KTRC traction control, which gets 3 riding modes –medium power, full power and a 3rd mode for low traction (wet/slippery) situations and back torque limiting slipper clutch assembly. The KTRC system is controlled by a bar mounted toggle/push switch, and the system’s effects can be monitored on a 7-segment bar graph in the cabin’s LCD display.

The result of all this high-tech and refined hot rodding is arguably the finest open class street motorcycle powerplant ever built and needs an identically competent chassis in which to thrive and live. The 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is up to the job, and then some. The engineers of the company strove for retaining its predecessor’s maneuverable and light handling demeanor using the existing chassis design as a beginning point for 14R and its increased power production. For maintaining this sweet handling character but also pump up the sportiness quotient, its engineers tailored over half of its frame’s aluminum forgings and castings, all of which have different rigidity and flex characteristics unlike the parts they change.

Rear and front suspension revisions help attain this balancing act of ride compliance, maneuverability and wheel control. Both the multi adjustable single shock and fully adjustable 43mm inverted fork have enhanced redesigned internal settings and bottoming resistance, while beautifully machined and new lighter ten-spoke wheels reduce unsprung weight by a whopping 3.3 pounds and look great, further aiding handling, suspension and acceleration action. Its triple disc brakes are upgraded too with redesigned pads and more rigid disc material for a progressive feel at the lever and fade free, powerful stops.

The 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R’s nose is particularly inspiring with a large ram air duct stuffing cool atmosphere into intake system and a more aggressive nose fitted with quad-headlamp assembly. The conventional four-fin theme along fairing’s sides has a more pronounced 3D design for 2012, while great effort was expended for hiding fasteners and hooks as much as possible. Its tail section is particularly well designed with a cool rear seat cowl and faired-in turn signals standard on models, boosting aesthetic performance. The body package provides functional advantages and aesthetic ones. The redesigned seat for example makes it easier for vertically challenged riders to reach the ground and provides more thigh support.

The controls and instruments of 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R have been revised as well, with a new multifunction switch on left handlebar which handles all system functions; you can easily scroll through remaining range, fuel consumption, external temperature, battery voltage, traction control, and more, adjusting and choosing functions using select button in the center of toggle switch and toggle the LCD display using upper/lower buttons and a newly finished gauge cluster. You will also find an eco indicator on the LCD display, which allows the riders know when they are getting maximum fuel economy and mileage.

Yamaha RD350LC is a bike, which was designed and engineered by Yamaha in the year 1980 till 1986. It featured a 2-stroke parallel twin powerplant with identical stroke and bore of the previous model predecessor Yamaha RD350. But, the motorcycle maker made other enhancements in exhaust and porting and added liquid cooling for complying with ever tightening emission regulations. The RD350LC constantly evolved throughout its life and was developed in Brazil. In some nations, like US, the YPVS models were marketed as Yamaha Rz350.

The evolution of Moto Guzzi V7 Sport’s legend has inspired the creation of today’s V7 Cafe Classic. The V7 Sport was introduced to the market with an unusual color combination of Legnano green for the outer structure in contrast with frame. Symbol of Italian sportsbike, no frills and all substance, the V7 Sport magically reappears today in unique traits of 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe Classic. It recalls one of the Italian design icons of 1970s to the extent that the trade press quickly stamped V7 Sport as an archetype of Italian sports motorcycle. The tank painted in metallic green gold Legnano is inspired in satiny tones to the sportiest Moto Guzzi bikes’ color.

The festivity of 1970s design carries on through the spoked wheels, the generous chrome trim, the dials on instrumentation inspired by popular Veglia-Borletti, the saddle with incorporated tail which traces the line of rear mudguard in a dark color like in front and the raised silencers. The legend of new conception of riding is revived together with an allure of original creation, now in its most faithful evolution. The 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe Classic combines the performance offered by contemporary technology with the purity of conventional design by the company.

The 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe Classic’s top box bag in waterproof genuine leather can be easily removed using rear handle and attaches to special luggage rack with belts. On the other hand, the jet helmet with visor dedicated to Classic V7 echoes the graphics of the Moto Guzzi emblem and the tank. It comes standard with adjustable interiors and visor in allergy-free fabric, shell in technopolymers with easy release strap for easy removal.

Constructed of high strength TiG welded steel alongside gorgeous chrome trim, it goes instead of passenger grab handles, replaced with a large integrated handle. The centre stand is in powder coated and cataphoresistreated steel to stand up to varying weather conditions and has been engineered for responding to stringent norms on strength and safety. The kit includes fastenings and mountings.
